Terms & Conditions
Terms of sale, right of withdrawal, and terms for purchases and bookings made via glodi.no.
Your rights as a customer
These terms apply to purchases and bookings made via glodi.no. The Platform Terms also apply to your account and use of GLØDI. The clinic is normally the seller of treatments and its own products; the seller's identity and the specific booking terms are shown before you confirm.
Terms of Sale
1. Parties to the Agreement
These terms govern purchases made through GLØDI. The seller depends on what you purchase.
Seller
For treatments, appointments, and products supplied by a clinic, the clinic is the seller and contracting party. Glødi AS, company no. 838 418 082, operates glodi.no and supplies its software services and subscriptions. Products sold by the platform are supplied by Glødi Logistics AS, company no. 938 518 211. GLØDI medical partner services and additional occupational health services are supplied by Glødi Medical AS, company no. 838 335 292; HMS software subscriptions remain with Glødi AS. The exact seller is shown before purchase and on the receipt or invoice. Email: [email protected].
Buyer
The person who places the order or makes the purchase. The buyer must be over 18 years old, or have parental consent.
2. Orders and Agreement
The agreement is binding for both parties when the buyer has submitted their order to the seller.
Online booking
A booking becomes binding under the rules displayed at checkout and when the booking is confirmed. The confirmation identifies the seller, price, appointment time, and the cancellation deadline applying to that booking.
Price information
All prices on glodi.no are listed in Norwegian kroner (NOK) and include VAT where applicable. The total price includes all fees and additional costs.
3. Payment
We offer several payment methods for your convenience.
Payment methods
We accept payment via Vipps, bank card (Visa/Mastercard), and cash payment at the clinic. For online bookings and online purchases, payment is due at purchase, at booking, or at the appointment, depending on the service type.
Gift cards
Gift cards may be used as full or partial payment. Gift cards are valid according to the terms stated at purchase and cannot be redeemed for cash.
Payment deadline
For services paid at the appointment, payment is due immediately after the treatment is completed. Prepaid treatment sessions and packages are paid when purchased; later matching bookings are covered by the prepaid credit.
4. Delivery of Services
Our services are performed at the clinic at the agreed time and place.
Attendance
Treatments are performed at the clinic where you booked, at the address shown in your booking confirmation. You should arrive 5–10 minutes before your scheduled appointment.
Cancellation and changes
The clinic sets the cancellation and rescheduling deadline, which is shown before booking and in the confirmation. Any late-cancellation or no-show fee must be disclosed before booking and comply with mandatory consumer law. No general 48-hour deadline or fixed percentage applies across all clinics.
Delays
If the clinic is materially delayed or cannot provide the service, it must inform you and handle rescheduling, cancellation, or refund under the agreement and applicable consumer law.
5. Right of Withdrawal
As a consumer, you have rights when purchasing online under the Norwegian Right of Withdrawal Act (angrerettloven).
14-day cooling-off period
For services purchased online, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of the agreement, in accordance with the Right of Withdrawal Act. The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the agreement was entered into.
Exception for completed services
If you expressly request that a service starts during the withdrawal period, the seller may charge proportionately for what has been supplied. The right is lost when the service is fully performed if you expressly agreed to early performance and acknowledged the loss of the right. Statutory exceptions may apply to certain services supplied on a specified date or time.
How to exercise your right of withdrawal
Contact the seller named in the confirmation. Where GLØDI is the seller, contact [email protected]. You may use the standard withdrawal form and need not give a reason. Refunds and any proportionate charge are handled under applicable withdrawal law.
Product purchases
For physical products purchased online, the 14-day right of withdrawal applies from the date of receipt. The product must be returned in substantially the same condition and quantity. Return shipping costs are covered by the buyer unless otherwise agreed.
You can read more about the right of withdrawal at the Norwegian Consumer Authority website: forbrukertilsynet.no
6. Complaints
We want you to be satisfied with our services. If something is not as expected, we want to hear from you.
Complaint deadline
Complaints about services must be submitted within a reasonable time after you discovered or should have discovered the defect. For products, the complaint period is 2 years after purchase, or 5 years for products with a significantly longer expected lifespan.
How to file a complaint
Contact the seller named in the confirmation. Describe the defect and the remedy sought. GLØDI may help route the complaint but does not take over the clinic's responsibility as seller.
Our obligations
The seller handles repair, replacement, repeat performance, price reduction, or termination under the rules applying to the service. Product purchases are governed by the Consumer Purchases Act.
7. Messaging, Journeys, and Journals
In-platform messaging
You can send and receive messages with clinic staff or practitioners in GLØDI. Messages may be stored for follow-up, quality, and documentation purposes.
Journeys and follow-up
We may send automated or manual follow-up journeys with guidance, reminders, and relevant suggestions based on appointments and consents.
Journals and photos
For treatments, the clinic may maintain a clinical record including notes, health data, and images where it has a valid basis. The clinic is controller for the record; GLØDI processes the data for the clinic under a Data Processing Agreement.
8. Liability and Updates
Your responsibility
You are responsible for ensuring information you provide is accurate and for following pre- and post-treatment guidance.
Our responsibility
The clinic has professional and contractual responsibility for the treatments it supplies. GLØDI is responsible for the platform under the Platform Terms and mandatory law. Individual treatment outcomes may vary.
Changes to terms
Material changes are notified on a durable medium where required by law. Changes do not affect an existing booking unless required by law or beneficial to the customer.
9. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes should first be attempted resolved amicably between the parties.
Complaint handling
If a complaint to the seller is not resolved, you may contact the Norwegian Consumer Authority for mediation and use the relevant Norwegian or European dispute-resolution body listed by the European Commission. The former European ODR platform has been discontinued.
Jurisdiction
Disputes that are not resolved through mediation are settled at the buyer's local court.
