HUD by Strand is a skin care salon in the centre of Sandnessjøen. Veronica Strand started here as a skin therapist at 19, and travelled out to the islands, Onøya among them, to build the business. Today you get treatments and honest advice suited to you.

We map your skin with Dermalogica Face Mapping to find your skin type and the products that suit you.
What is the difference between microneedling and nanoneedling?
Microneedling makes tiny channels in the skin and starts the skin's own repair. Nanoneedling works only in the top layer of the skin, is painless and needs no downtime.
What is medical massage?
Massage that relieves pain and stress, or works on one area of the body. The masseur chooses the treatment from what you tell them, for example trigger points, cupping or heat.
How long does a lash lift last?
Usually 6 to 8 weeks. Keep your lashes dry for the first day, and avoid steam, exercise and mascara.
How do I prepare for a spray tan?
Exfoliate the day before, and skip roll-on deodorant on the day. Take off earrings and jewellery. The colour lasts about a week.
Can we come as a group?
Yes. We host wellness evenings with make-up, skin care or treatments, with snacks and a welcome drink. Get in touch for an offer.
